Pensacola Man Accused of Murdering Wife Heading to Trial

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Pensacola man accused of shooting his wife the day before Thanksgiving in 2023 is heading to trial this week. Darryl Walker is charged with second-degree murder in the death of his wife, Sheena Marie Levine. According to police reports, Walker called his daughter from their home on Meadson Road saying he "messed up" and that his wife had grabbed the gun. When his daughter arrived, she found Levine dead. Walker fled and was arrested five days later in Panama City. He has a prior conviction for gun charges. The trial begins Thursday, November 20th.

Feeding the Gulf Coast typically hands out 6,000 meals for Thanksgiving. This year, they're aiming for 7,000.
