WOMAN ARRESTED FOR DUI CRASH THAT KILLED UBER DRIVER

A 22-year-old Pensacola woman was arrested yesterday for a DUI crash in late June that killed an Uber driver and seriously injured two Navy sailors. The crash happened on June 29 at 4 a.m. at the intersection of Navy Boulevard and Gulf Beach Highway. According to Florida Highway Patrol, Terriny Krepps ran a red light in her Hyundai Elantra, crashing into the side of a Subaru Legacy. The driver of the Subaru -- a 60-year-old Pensacola man who was driving for Uber -- was pronounced dead on scene. His two Navy sailor passengers -- a 28-year-old New York man and a 22-year-old Iowa man -- both suffered serious injuries and were transported to the hospital. Krepps suffered serious injuries in the crash as well and was hospitalized. She is charged with two counts of DUI, DUI crash with serious injuries, and DUI Manslaughter.
