Train Hits Hot Dog Trailer in South Alabama

Atmore, AL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A CSX freight train collided with a semi-trailer loaded with hot dogs Sunday evening near Atmore — just north of the Florida state line. The trailer had apparently become stuck on the tracks on Tumbling Lane near Highway 31, and the driver managed to separate the truck before impact. No injuries were reported... but chicken franks were scattered along the tracks.
