'TIS THE SEASON FOR PORCH PIRATES

We're now officially in the Christmas shopping season -- and with more people than ever doing their shopping online, police say porch pirates will likely be out as well. Pensacola Police Department Spokesman Mike Wood says it's good to have cameras on your home, although it may not deter the thieves... it could lead to them being caught. He also says if you are making any private sales PPD offers a safe transaction space at the police department downtown -- he says you should avoid making financial transactions at your home for your safety.
