Gulf Breeze, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Popular Mexican restaraunt Mariachi's have reopened both locations in Santa Rosa County. The PNJ reports the closures came after owner Cesar Campos-Reyes was indicted on multiple federal charges, including bank fraud and money laundering. The U.S. Attorney's Office stated that the charges are related to an alleged scheme involving federal program fraud, with law enforcement searching 14 locations across Alabama. In a social media statement earlier this month, Mariachi's said that the restaurant's operations and staff are not involved in the legal issues surrounding Campos-Reyes. The Navarre location reopened earlier this month, and the Gulf Breeze location reopened yesterday. Both are currently operating as cash-only.
