RESULTS OF DOWNTOWN NOISE ENFORCEMENT EFFORT SO FAR

Pensacola police officers launched an effort to enforce noise ordinances downtown last week. The extra enforcement is being funded by the DIB who've hired off-duty officers to write the tickets. Mayor DC Reeves says the enforcement has netted 45 citations so far. Officers have written 25 exhaust violations, 6 loud music violations, as well as citations for stunt driving, and four arrests including one person with a felony warrant.
