Walton County, FL (Newsradio Pensacola) -- Aerial surveillance of the Gulf coastline showed a 'notable presence of sharks' over the weekend. The surveillance was done in Panama City and Bay County. This comes after three shark-bite incidents at Walton County beaches on Friday afternoon. Two Alabama teenagers were attacked on Friday, one girl was taken to a Pensacola hospital and listed in critical condition. The other teen suffered flesh wounds. A 45-year-old Virginia woman was also attacked at a different beach and reportedly lost her hand and had significant trauma to her midsection after the attack. There were no attacks or shark-related issues in Santa Rosa or Escambia County.
