Milton, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Milton native will be part of the flyover during the national anthem at the Super Bowl this Sunday in California. The U.S. Navy says Lieutenant Caleb Champion, a Milton High School graduate, will fly as part of a unified Navy and Air Force formation over Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. The flyover will feature eight aircraft, including F/A-18 Super Hornets, F-35s, F-15 Eagles, and B-1B bombers. Champion, a Navy pilot with Strike Fighter Squadron 97, says taking part in the Super Bowl flyover is a full-circle moment, combining his love of football and aviation.
