LEWIS BEAR JR WAY NAMING CEREMONY

A portion of 9th Avenue was officially named in honor of Pensacola businessman and philanthropist Lewis Bear Jr. today. He passed away back in 2023. His wife Belle Bear says he gave so much back to his community because he loved helping others. Lewis' son David Bear was also at the ceremony -- he called it an honor for the Bear Family to see Lewis recognized for his work.
