FLOUNDERS CATCHES FIRE THIS MORNING (UPDATED)

Firefighters were called to Pensacola Beach when a Christmas tree caught on fire at Flounders early this morning, but business hours and service will not be affected. Fire officials say the tree was on top of the roof inside the bar area. Firefighters from Escambia, Midway, Gulf Breeze, and Pensacola fire departments all responded to the location. The fire was out shortly before 5 AM. Employees told Channel Three that the fire started because of an electrical mishap. Flounders opened this morning at its normal time of 11 am.
