Pensacola, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- E-bikes are leaving their mark on Bayview Park in Pensacola — and not in a good way. The city says riders have been carving dirt paths and leaving tire tracks across the park's slopes, prompting the city to post signs prohibiting motorized vehicles including e-bikes. Mayor D-C Reeves says the city attorney has drafted new regulations that could go before city council in September. At the state level, a bill requiring e-bike riders to slow to ten miles per hour on sidewalks near pedestrians is headed to the governor's desk.
