FLORIDA HAS A NEW MONIKER

092824 There's a new moniker in Florida-MAAA: Make America Active Again. Senator Marco Rubio is introducing legislation requiring students to exercise in physical education classes. Rubio confirms "Only nine states require daily recess for elementary school students, while US public schools have reduced or eliminated opportunities for students to engage in physical activity." The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports in Florida, 1 in 3 students are obese or simply overweight.
