Fairhope Woman Hurt in North Escambia County Crash

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Fairhope woman was hurt in a crash on Highway 29 north of McDavid last night. The Florida Highway patrol says the 22-year-old lost control of her SUV, hit the guardrail, and the vehicle rolled. It then caught on fire shortly after the crash. The driver was extricated from the vehicle and life-flighted to the hospital with critical injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
