BALDWIN COUNTY JAIL GETS K9 OFFICER -- David Wayne
Baldwin County, AL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The Baldwin County Correctional Center now has its own K9 deputy. The Sheriff's Office says K9 Leya -- a German Shorthaired Pointer, and her handler Corporal Jasmine Weathersby recently graduated at the top of their class -- even earning the Top Dog Award. Leya is the first K9 officer to be assigned to Baldwin County's Correctional Center.
