Santa Rosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Yet another well-known convenience store chain may be coming into our area. According to the PNJ, a development proposal has been submitted in Santa Rosa County for a 7-Eleven gas station on Garcon Point Road near Henzelman Drive. Developers are proposing a 5400-square-foot store with two fueling canopies, and plan to use existing roads to access the site. This comes after chains like WAWA and Cefco have been establishing a footprint in the Panhandle over recent years. 7-Eleven is a national chain but has no locations in the Panhandle. The nearest 7-Eleven stores currently are in the Tampa area.
