Woman Sentenced to Life for Role in Geoghagan Murder

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Pensacola woman has been sentenced to life in prison for her role in the murder of 26-year-old Jesse Geoghagan in October 2022. 25-year-old Alyssa Marie Blackburn was convicted of Principal to Second Degree Murder in the case. Prosecutors say she allowed her boyfriend, Jacob Colville, to enter their home and fatally shoot him. Colville is also serving a life sentence, while a third accomplice, Lawrence Bonner, received a five-year sentence after pleading no contest. Evidence revealed a complicated relationship dynamic, with Blackburn having known both men and warning a friend of the impending murder just minutes before it occurred.
