Escambia County Waives Adoption Fees for the Holidays

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Escambia County is making it easier to find your next pet. The animal welfare department is waiving adoption fees for all adult cats and dogs during the holiday season. The "Home for the Holidays" special runs from November 26th through December 30th. A 15-dollar licensing fee applies for county residents. Younger animals have adoption fees of 50 dollars for puppies and 25 dollars for kittens. Plus, adoptions between December 1st and 15th are sponsored by BISSELL Pet Foundation. You can visit the Escambia County Animal Welfare and Adoption Center at 200 West Fairfield Drive.
