Two Dead After Small Plane Crashes Into Bon Secour Bay Near Gulf Shores

Gulf Shores, AL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Two people are dead after a small plane crashed into Bon Secour Bay near Gulf Shores Saturday evening. The Coast Guard received the call around six-fifty, with the aircraft going down roughly seven miles west of Gulf Shores International Airport. Search and rescue crews located a debris field in the water and recovered both victims. The wreckage was pulled from the water Sunday morning. The identities of those on board have not been released. The National Transportation Safety Board is leading the investigation.
