TRAIN AND ECUA TRASH TRUCK COLLIDE IN ESCAMBIA

A train and an ECUA Trash truck collided in Molino earlier this morning, sending one person to the hospital. It happened on the 5500-block of Fairground Road near Highway 95A around 9:45 am when the truck began to cross the tracks as the train was northbound. Escambia County says the ECUA driver sustained minor injuries. It's the second truck/train collision in two days. Yesterday morning, a Milton man was injured in a truck/train collision on Nine Mile Road.
