TEXT MESSAGES CLAIMING BALLOTS ARE BEING DQ'D IS FALSE

Voters in Escambia County are concerned about a text message that has been making the rounds. It claims that poll workers are marking and disqualifying ballots. But Escambia County's top election official says it's all misinformation, and possibly coming from a foreign agent. The message claims to be from a poll manager, and says poll workers are disqualifying ballots. But Escambia County Supervisor of Elections Robert Bender tells Channel 3 that it's just not true. He says they don't even have poll managers, just poll workers and clerks that oversee the process. Bender says they expect to have 65-hundred ballots cast just this week in Escambia County.
