A 19-year-old man wanted in connection to the shooting death of a 16-year-old in Cottage Hill is now in custody. According to jail records, Cantonment resident Ethan O'Brien was booked into the Escambia County Jail yesterday afternoon. The sheriff's office says late Friday night, O'Brien was at a party on Wishbone Rd showing off a gun when it accidentally discharged, killing the 16-year-old. O'Brien then allegedly fled the area. He's being charged with negligent homicide.
