Stabbing in Walton County Being Investigated by Federal Authorities

(DeFuniak Springs, FL) -- Federal immigration officials are aware of a violent incident in Walton County. The sheriff's office announced yesterday a man was stabbed by a co-worker Saturday night in Santa Rosa Beach. Deputies say two employees were arguing outside a bar when one stabbed the other. The victim is expected to survive. No arrest has been announced. Investigators say the suspect is a Jamaican man in the US on a work visa, and ICE has been notified.
