SHOOTING AT LOCAL EVENTS CENTER-UPDATED

One person is dead after a shooting at a local event center. The shooting happened early Saturday morning at the 851 Event Center at Delano Street and Pace Boulevard. The victim was found near the event center in a parking lot and pronounced dead. A 24-year-old Pensacola man, Jehlynn Woods, was arrested last night on charges of murder, firing a weapon in public and weapon possession by a convicted felon. He's being held in Escambia County Jail without bond. The sheriff's office announced this morning that deputies are trying to locate two witnesses: 34 year old Jerel Williams-Foster, and 23 year old Jayven Daysean Floyd.
