Escambia County has recently had several buses and ambulances go out of service with fuel injector issues. So far, there's no official word on what caused the problems. Escambia County Administrator Wes Moreno says the county has moved some fleet vehicles around to cover for ambulances and buses that are down, while fuel injectors are being replaced. So far, the best guess for what's causing the problems is a combination of the fuel injectors used in Cummins motors and a recent change in how diesel fuel is produced.
