SENATOR SCOTT WANTS VOTE ON ANTISEMITISM BILL

Florida Senator Rick Scott says it's 'crazy' that universities like Harvard are still receiving federal funding, yet won't condemn antisemitism on campus. Scott tells Newsradio he wants an immediate vote on the "Stop Antisemitism on College Campuses Act." Scott's comments come after testimony from Harvard President Claudine Gay at a House committee hearing last week. Hundreds of Harvard faculty members came to her defense amid public outcry. Under the proposed "Stop Antisemitism on College Campuses Act" universities could lose federal funding for allowing events on campus that promote antisemitism.
