Scott, Moody Comment On Deputy's Shooting

(Washington, DC) -- Florida's senators are sending well-wishes to an injured deputy. Dixie County Deputy Cody Pope was shot in the line of duty on Saturday. Senators Rick Scott and Ashley Moody said yesterday they're praying for Pope's recovery. Scott writes on X brave law enforcement officers put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe, and we will always stand with them. Moody adds we owe them our gratitude and support.
