Scott Asks Pharmacies To Address Supply Chain Vulnerabilities

(Washington, DC) -- Rick Scott wants to know what pharmacies are doing to address vulnerabilities in their supply chains. Senator Scott sent a letter this week to the CEOs of several large pharmacies, like CVS, Walgreens and Walmart. Scott sent the letter after learning the FDA granted import exemptions for drugs from foreign factories that have previously failed to meet safety standards. He writes Americans must be protected from the threats posed by our over-reliance on foreign-made generic drugs.
