Santa Rosa Schools Distributing Hurricane Isaias Relief Supplies at 5 County Locations

Santa Rosa County District Schools is partnering with Convoy of Hope and Pace Assembly of God to distribute emergency supplies to residents still recovering from Hurricane Isaias. The relief effort will provide food, bottled water, diapers, wipes, and other essentials at five locations across the county through Wednesday.

Distribution events begin today, Friday, October 23, with two locations: the Cutting Board Parking Lot in the East Milton area from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Soundside High School Cafeteria in Navarre (5706 Gulf Breeze Parkway) from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Additional sites open Sunday through Wednesday in Chumuckla, Milton, and Munson, with times varying by location.

"Our schools are more than places of learning. They are the heart of our communities," said Dr. Karen Barber, according to the district announcement. "We are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Convoy of Hope, Pace Assembly of God, and our community partners to provide support to families during this challenging time."

Supplies are limited and availability varies by site. Residents are advised to arrive early and follow distribution instructions from volunteers. For more information, contact the Santa Rosa County Schools Public Information Office.
