Area high schools wrap up week with decisive football wins

Several North Escambia and surrounding area high schools saw action this week, with dominant performances across the board.
On Wednesday night, Blountstown dominated Northview 34-6, while Marianna edged Jay 24-20 in a closer contest. Pace narrowly defeated Niceville 30-25 in another tight matchup.
Tuesday's slate featured some more lopsided scores. Tate overwhelmed Navarre 55-7, and Escambia shut out Gulf Breeze 30-0. Milton squeaked past Washington 14-12, while Pine Forest dominated Pensacola 40-0. South Walton also posted a shutout victory over West Florida, winning 28-0.
