Santa Rosa Deputies Looking to Identify Attempted Carjacking Victim

Santa Rosa County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Santa Rosa County deputies arrested a man after a crash that led to an attempted carjacking last night. It all started with a car crash on Quintette Road -- deputies say the occupant of one of the vehicles got out and was armed with a tire iron. When deputies arrived that man ran to a nearby Circle K station and reportedly tried to get into an unoccupied vehicle, then tried to jump through the window of an occupied and moving vehicle.

Deputies say they told that person to drive away at the time -- but now they want to identify the victim so the suspect can face additional felony charges.

The suspect was arrested and has been identified as Brian Stacken -- he is currently charged with aggravated assault, burglary, and resisting arrest.
