Santa Rosa County Marking Memorial Day with Ceremonies Today

Santa Rosa County, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- Santa Rosa County will hold two Memorial Day ceremonies today. In Milton, the Veterans Memorial Plaza ceremony gets underway at 10 AM on Willing Street, featuring Milton High School's J-R-O-T-C, choir, and band. In Navarre, a ceremony at Navarre Park on Navarre Parkway begins at eleven a-m, with decorated Air Force Colonel Kris Kane delivering the keynote address. The American Legion will serve lunch following the Navarre ceremony. Most Santa Rosa County offices will be closed Monday for the holiday.
