SANTA ROSA COUNTY COULD POTENTIALLY GET INTO THE WASTEWATER TREATMENT BUSINESS

020325 (PNJ) As the City of Milton encounters delays in constructing a long-planned wastewater treatment plant, Santa Rosa Commissioners have decided to get into the wastewater treatment business. The wait is over in developing a proposed plant that would process 8 million gallons of wastewater a day, a significant upgrade from the old plant's 2.5-million-gallon max capacity. The city now stands to take a financial hit from the county's decision to build its own plant.
