State Representative Michelle Salzman will reportedly not seek to put a term limit for county commissioners on the 2024 ballot. According to Studio 850, Salzman will instead re-file the resolution as a general bill to move through the state legislature. A companion bill in the Senate will be filed by Senator Blaise Ingoglia. Salzman says not filing it as a ballot initiative will save taxpayer money, and it's not needed, as Floridians have been overwhelmingly supportive of term limits for years.
