(Tallahassee, FL) -- The special session Governor Ron DeSantis wants won't happen as originally planned. DeSantis announced yesterday he's asking for the session to take place a week later than he initially wanted. The new date will be April 28th. He originally asked for it to be 8 days earlier, on the 20th. DeSantis called the special session to address redistricting, but now he also wants it to cover AI [[A-eye]] and vaccines. Specifically, he's asking lawmakers to pass an AI Bill of Rights and to allow more exemptions for vaccines required by school districts. The session would end no later than May First.
