Scott Wants Trump To Add Pressure To Cuba Regime

(Washington, DC) -- Rick Scott is calling on President Trump to put more pressure on Cuba. Senator Scott said yesterday he sent Trump a letter Tuesday asking him to focus on Cuba's medical missions program and its military conglomerate. He says these revenue streams serve as the regime's financial backbone and directly enable it to maintain control, silence dissent and continue its systematic oppression of the Cuban people. Scott also accuses Cuba of failing to release any political prisoners despite recently announcing a mass pardon.
