RUDMAN SPONSORING BILL PREVENTING BUSINESSES FROM GOING CASHLESS

A local lawmaker is helping to lead the effort that could keep Florida businesses from being able to go completely cashless. State Representative Joel Rudman is a co-sponsor of House Bill 35, which would require businesses to allow cash as a form of payment. There are some exceptions to the bill, including when customers want to pay with bills greater than $20, or any transactions that were done online or over the phone.
