Rick Scott Talks Shutdown

(Washington, DC) -- Republican Senator Rick Scott is willing to share some of the blame for the federal government shutdown. Scott was on Fox News yesterday. When asked if Republicans and Democrats are both to blame for the shutdown, he said "absolutely." He did criticize Democrats, though, for not supporting a clean resolution to keep the government running. Scott says nobody wins in a shutdown, and both sides need to start talking to each other to resolve this. He adds lawmakers should not get paid as long as the shutdown continues.
