REAP Breaks Ground on Pallet Shelter Village

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Re-Entry Alliance Pensacola (REAP) is breaking ground on the Pallet Shelter Village on West Moreno Street. This project will provide 14 tiny homes for the homeless. REAP says the goal to have the units ready for occupancy before Thanksgiving. The city of Pensacola is allocating $1.1 million to purchase the shelters from Pallet PBC, a company that specializes in temporary housing solutions. The Pallet Shelter Village will also include a restroom trailer with separate facilities for men and women, along with case management services provided by REAP staff.
