Pursuit with Stolen Vehicle Ends with Three Arrests

THREE ARRESTED IN STOLEN VEHICLE -- David Wayne

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Three people have been arrested after a pursuit with Escambia County deputies in a stolen vehicle overnight. The sheriff's office says deputies spotted a stolen Volkswagen Jetta around Burgess Road and Palafox, the vehicle then led deputies on a short chase that ended with a pit maneuver. Deputies say there were three people in the vehicle. The driver, Mario Wiggins is charged with grand theft auto, fleeing and eluding, and other charges stemming from the chase. One passenger was arrested on an outstanding warrant, and another passenger was arrested on narcotics charges.
