PPD Make Arrest After Weekend Shooting


MAN CHARGED IN DOWNTOWN SHOOTING -- David Wayne


Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- Pensacola police arrested a man after a downtown shooting on Sunday morning. It happened around the corner of Palafox and Romana streets. 32-year-old Jeremy Brown now faces attempted homicide and possession of a weapon by a felon charges. Officers say the suspect and victim got into an argument, and say that led to Brown allegedly shooting the victim in the stomach. The victim is expected to survive their injuries. Brown remains in the Escambia County jail on $110-thousand dollars bond.
