PPD INVESTIGATING CRASH INVOLVING OFFICER-UPDATED

Pensacola Police say last night's officer-involved crash happened while the officer's emergency lights and siren were activated. It happened around 7 pm on Bayou Boulevard at Hyde Park. Pensacola Police say the officer was on his way to a call for a burglary in progress with his emergency lights and siren activated. The driver of the other vehicle made a left turn in front of the officer and a collision occurred. Witnesses on the scene say they spotted a Jeep rolled over on its side as a result of the collision. All injuries were non-life threatening.
