Pensacola Teacher Named Florida History Teacher Of The Year

Melanie Hendrix, a thirty-three-year veteran educator, was named the state's top history teacher by the Gilder Lehrman Institute. She teaches AP and honors US History and has racked up numerous awards over her career. Hendrix now becomes a finalist for the National History Teacher of the Year Award, with the national winner announced this fall.
