Pensacola Opens Disaster Resource Center at Brownsville as FEMA Registration Closes

The City of Pensacola has opened a Disaster Multi-Agency Resource Center at Brownsville Community Center, located at 3200 W. Desoto Street, to help residents recover from Hurricane Isaias. The center provides access to storm-related resources and assistance in one location.

The resource center closes at 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, and will operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily beginning Thursday, according to a city announcement. Meanwhile, FEMA registration points are closing today, so residents seeking federal disaster assistance should apply now if they haven't already.

Residents needing help with recovery efforts can visit the Brownsville Community Center during operating hours. For more information, contact the City of Pensacola Public Information Office at 850-435-1629.
