Pensacola Man Crashes Into Fence After Fleeing Traffic Stop on Blue Angel Parkway

Escambia County, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- A Pensacola man with an outstanding warrant is facing felony charges after fleeing a traffic stop and crashing into a fence early Thursday morning. Florida Highway Patrol says a trooper spotted a vehicle with a mismatched registration tag on North Blue Angel Parkway around 12-55 a.m. When the trooper attempted a stop the driver fled before crashing at Patricia Drive and Oakcliff Road. The driver, 46-year-old Marvin Thomas, was not injured. He was charged with felony fleeing and driving with a suspended license.
