Pedestrian Killed in Early Morning SUV Crash on Chumuckla Highway

A man died early Sunday morning after being struck by an SUV in Santa Rosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The crash happened around 12:15 a.m. on Chumuckla Highway just south of Willard Norris Road. Troopers say a 46-year-old woman from Jay was driving a sport utility vehicle northbound when the collision occurred.
