One UWF Trustee Appointee Rejected by Senate Committee, Six Moved Forward

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- The Senate Ethics and Elections Committee approved six of seven appointees to the UWF Board of Trustees this morning. They rejected Adam Kissel with a 5-4 vote. During the meeting Kissel was asked about his stances on privatization of public universities and the military GI bill. Despite Kissel being rejected, he could be re-appointed by Governor DeSantis after the legislative session.
