One Dead, Another Injured After Pedestrian-Involved Crashes

Pensacola, FL (Newsradio 92.3) -- One person has died and another was taken to the hospital after two separate pedestrian-involved crashes on Pensacola's west side yesterday. The first happened around 7 pm in the Ross parking lot at Fairfield and Mobile Highway. That person was taken to the hospital. There's no word on the extent of their injuries. A few hours later a pedestrian was hit and killed on Highway 98 near the Perdido Bay emergency room. FHP said the 42-year-old Flomaton man was walking in the road when he was hit by a car that didn't see him. He died at the scene.
