021225 (NewsRadio923) It wasn't your typical Tuesday afternoon in Ferry Pass as an EF 1 tornado with winds speeds of 95 mph touched down in the Ellyson Industrial Complex on Copter Road. The system left debris, downed power lines and three injured individuals, two of them were transported to local hospitals. Scotlin Wilson, Escambia County meteorologist, says "the county performed search and rescue operations to ensure no one was trapped inside any of the buildings while assessing the structural damage left behind by the storm."
