NO PROBLEMS AT BIG LGBTQ BEACH EVENT

Memorial Day weekend has come and gone -- and on Pensacola Beach, one of the nation's largest LGBTQ pride events seems to have concluded with no major problems. Escambia County Sheriff Chip Simmons says there were a few extra deputies on the beach for the events over the weekend, but they were hired by the Santa Rosa Island Authority. Simmons says he also had extra deputies on hand for events throughout the county over the long weekend.
