The system is producing disorganized showers and storms, with only a ten-percent chance of tropical development over the next week. Forecasters say it's expected to move inland over Florida by the weekend, limiting further development. Still, heavy rainfall is likely across parts of Florida and the northern Gulf Coast through the weekend.
